I would like to offer my sincerest congratulations on the opening of the 9th Toyama International Contemporary Art Exhibition, “2022 ART/X/TOYAMA.”
Since its inception in 1993, this Toyama-based exhibition has gathered many ambitious works of art from within the prefecture, as well as other countries in Asia and Europe, and always delivers inspiration and excitement to its viewers.
In addition to promoting art and culture, this exhibition is a truly significant opportunity to further expand international cultural exchange, so I believe this makes it very valuable.
I invite all visitors to enrich their minds and gain strength for tomorrow as they enjoy and are moved by the many pieces of art on display. I also hope that they will lead to the improvement of everyone’s wellbeing.
Lastly, I would like to express my deepest respect and gratitude to the executive committee and everyone involved for their valuable efforts, and to extend my best wishes toward the success of this exhibition.
