Born into a family of literati in Haikou, Hainan Province, China. Graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Department of Oil Painting, 1982. Currently a member of China Artist Association, professor and director of Studio 3 of the Oil Painting Department in GAFA.
